Under the cooperation protocol\u00a0concluded with ANEPC<\/a>, VOST Portugal provided personalized access to the API of the FOGOS:EN\u00a0<\/a>to free up technological resources from ANEPC's systems. A solution has also been developed to automate the dissemination of public information on the most relevant occurrences.\u00a0<\/p>

In addition to the development of this solution, VOST Portugal has monitored social networks, and transmitted the most relevant information\/images to ANEPC, via a direct channel that had already been established.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

In the area of dissemination, VOST Portugal has used its social networks, in conjunction with the social networks of FOGOS.PT, to disseminate status reports, based on official sources.\u00a0<\/p>

In the area of cooperation between VOST, VOST Portugal has maintained constant contact with the various VOSTs in Spain, namely with VOST Galicia, due to cross-border fires.\u00a0<\/p>

Since July 5th, and to date (18 July 2022), VOST Portugal has issued\u00a0551 tweets that were viewed 3.01M<\/span>\u00a0has generated more than 587,000 visits to the profile, where the tweet highlighted is a\u00a0message on how to share photos on social media<\/a>, in the context of forest fires.\u00a0<\/p>

On July 12th VOST Portugal\u00a0wrote a thread<\/a>, based on the triptych of the project \u201cSafe Villages, Safe People\u201d which, after its publication, was also adapted by the traditional media.\u00a0<\/p>

Since the 13th, the FOGOS.PT website \/ app has information on the areas of interest, or burned area, based on data from the ICNF, FIRMS hot spots detected by NASA and reports collected on social networks, after their validation.\u00a0<\/p>

In addition to this information, POSIT (Situation Points) collected from official sources have been disseminated, whenever available.\u00a0<\/p>

On 14 July, VOST Portugal managed to put the theme \u201cDRINKING WATER<\/a>\u201d in the first place of trending topics in Portugal, alerting to the need for hydration during these hottest days.\u00a0<\/p>

VOST Portugal will continue to monitor the situation (and at all times when justified) in order to provide better information to the affected populations, and to society in general, as well as to give all the support requested by the official authorities.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
