VOST Portugal will be activated during the World Youth Days, as well as the week before the event.
Based on the work developed for the Rally de Portugal (2019 – 2023) in Fatima (2022), and the Beja Air Show (2022 and 2023), as well as for the Slovak government (2022), and based on the decision support platform CONFIRM, VOST will contribute with this tool adapted for this event, specific communication channels for dissemination of important official messages to pilgrims, and dissemination of messages on official social networks.
This activation will be coordinated with the Local Organization Committee of the World Youth Days, and with the Territorial Commands of the GNR of Santarém, Porto, Coimbra, and Leria, with coordination of the General Command of this entity. The Municipal Civil Protection Services of Oeiras also requested the integration of the CONFIRM platform for the specific case of that municipality.
VOST Portugal's participation in the World Youth Days is based on what is our fundamental mission: to contribute, within our capacity, so that citizens are more informed and, consequently, can make the best decisions.
For this purpose VOST Portugal will also count on the volunteers of the Waze Portugal as well as the support, essential, of the PT Server It provides us, in sponsorship format, with our entire technological infrastructure.
This will undoubtedly be a challenge and an important milestone for VOST Portugal and a significant step in our mission to serve the community.
