– Newspapers in hospitals?! Yes!

At first glance, it may seem strange, but it makes perfect sense. VOST Portugal had this initiative, with the support of the Portuguese Press Association (API), which consists of the distribution of newspapers and magazines, daily and without associated costs, for COVID patients who are hospitalized in the Health Units. Isolation measures and conditioning on visits make these hospitalizations even more painful, so every effort to anemize the situation is important.

It would not have been possible without the call of the Mr Mario Macedo, a nurse in Amadora – Sintra, who revealed this paradigm, would not have been possible without the collaboration of all the editors, API associates and, of course, the Health teams.
