Introduction

Yesterday, 23 May 2021, the Vodafone Rally de Portugal 2021 ended. This year, and due to the pandemic situation in which we still find ourselves, our activation was focused on the creation and operationalization of a public management system in the show areas, in close coordination with the organization of the event and with the local and district authorities, in order to provide real-time information to all who wanted to attend this event. In addition, VOST Portugal articulated with Waze Portugal the introduction, on that platform, of all the most important information in real time.

The strategy designed, and which Exhaustively explained here It was implemented with great success. The Telegram channel was one of the sources also used, with an average of 4600 views for each piece of information published.

The articulation, in situ and remotely, with all the entities involved demonstrated, once again, that it is possible to use technology for the common good.

This solution was praised by the FIA and raised the interest of the organisers of the Belgian Rally who will also have restrictions on the presence of the public at their rally.
