A DEINFORMATION STUDY
One more “occurrence” disinformation, this time on 25 February. In the early hours of the day, it circulated online, in pdf format, content relating to a new deconfinement plan allegedly announced by the Government. It was shared and disseminated via social media”, with a focus on app groups – social network WhatsApp Messenger, owned by Facebook, Inc. (Medialab-ISCTE, 2021)
Alerted to the situation, there was a need to verify the veracity of the document circulating in more and more media, so we quickly counted the official entities, in order to validate the information contained in the document, which turned out to be false.
A first reaction VOST.PT, through its means, arrived at 12.10 p.m., approximately 45 minutes after the initial publication of an alleged deconfinement plan, at 11.15 a.m., on the morning of February 25.

Through the publication on our social networks, with special emphasis, Twitter, the tweet that was generated, had, according to the institutional publication of ISCTE-Medialab, which you can consult here: bit.ly/MEDIALAB_VOSTPT, a projection enough to immediately reach more people, informing that the content that was being shared by all the circles in which we are inserted, was manifestly false.
