Simplified viewer access with Waze integration
One of the initiatives of VOST Portugal, as in previous years, was the development of a web application, created in partnership with Waze Portugal and ACP Motorsport. This application provided detailed information of the Show Zones (ZE) and integrated Waze navigation links. This application web facilitated access to the venues for more than 30,000 unique users – and their companions – by simplifying the process of reaching the venues efficiently.
Security and Real Time Access Control for GNR
To help with safety and operational management, VOST Portugal has developed a specialized web application for the National Republican Guard (GNR). This tool provided miltares on the ground with real-time access to information about authorized vehicles, including license plate details. One upgrade the solution launched last year, based on a challenge From the GNR itself to VOST Portual, this efficient verification process helped more than 300 vehicles – residents, social services to support the population, guests, suppliers and specific teams of the organisation – to access areas where access was reserved.
CONFIRM Platform
The CONFIRM platform was once again introduced to gather and distribute real-time information from the Proof Control and all the official entities involved, such as the GNR, ANEPC, INEM and PSP. This year, VOST Portugal also made available a dashboard dedicated to journalists, media outlets and representatives of the FIA. This initiative provided timely access to important updates of the event, facilitating more informed coverage and communication between stakeholders.
